In a video-performance created for the IX Furla Art Award (2013), the artist reads extracts of S.C.U.M. MANIFESTO (Society for Cutting Up Men), written by anarchist playwright Valerie Solanas in 1968. SCUM's fictional propaganda is indeed an ironical as well as cynical satire mirroring the values of the sexist culture that the program is willing to subvert. For the execution of the piece, the artist took inspiration by Silvio Berlusconi's first political announcement (1994).
